Pros and Cons
The presentation by Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland was awesome. I’ll start with the Pros first. Parking, entering and leaving this event was well coordinated. In fact, a couple of women were escorted out of the pavilion, only to return again and again. This is not fair to the guests who paid top dollar for these seats. Monitors in the pavilion were lax in enforcing “no-smoking” policies. Now for the Cons. Many of these tables were occupied by people who wanted to sit under an umbrella for shade. Outside a food stand, there were a number of tables with umbrellas. These had not purchased any food. People who purchased food had no place to sit. There were numerous “lawn” guests who snuck into the pavilion and sat in vacant seats. A placard should be placed at each table reserving seating for people who had purchased food. The purse restrictions were not adequately enforced. Many people had large purses and backpacks.
